BRIEF

The client offers financial consultancy and reporting to it's clients and was experiencing a bottleneck as it couldn't satisfy client demand with it's current man power. They were looking for us to create a back end application whereby it's customers could pay for a yearly subscription and have access to their online reports. They wanted this access to be tiered into a bronze, silver and gold structure, priced accordingly

SOLUTION

Our solution was to create a secure back end system, whereby the user can log on and use our 'intelligent search' to find the reports that best suit their needs. These reports would be displayed in terms of the relevancy of the reports to the keywords that they put in. We also decided to offer all reports in the search results, even if the user was a bronze user and some of the gold reports proved to be relevant. The only difference in this instance being that the gold report would be 'greyed out' with an option for the user to pay an upgrade for the next year, if they wanted to view the gold reports.

RESULT

The outcome of this project was that the client benefitted greatly from the system as it could service clients with relevant documentation if they were too busy at the time and could also earn money for them, whilst they slept. It has been a real success since it's launch with hits increasing over time as they started marketing it more aggresively (using HTML emails from us!) and is viewed a separate revenue earning arm of the business now.
