BRIEF
This was a particularly exciting project for us to win, as off the back of Higher Ground Creative assisting with the branding work for all of Deutsche Banks eCommerce offerings through the autobahn suite, we were commissioned to create a customer facing flash website with some 'WOW' factor to bring all parts of the bank to the customer through one website. This had to be within the banks corporate guidelines, but still blow the users away. A challenging brief. And we loved it.
SOLUTION
Our solution was to undertake our usual usability analysis by going direct to each of the business areas and understanding their target audiences, creating the sitemap and wireframes off the back of this (to ensure that the site was a success structurally from a marketing perspective), and we then layered the 'WOW' factor over the top with 3D animations movies, animated flash logos and text and a slick and quick loading flash navigation structure.
RESULT
The outcome was a website which enabled Deutsche Bank to start marketing the autobahn suite of sites directly through one impressive point of entry. This received attention not only from other areas within the Deutsche Bank, but also from other banks around the city. For Higher Ground, this was also a particular success as not only did it fulfill the criteria laid out for us by the client, but it also introduced us to other areas of the bank, and we then went on to be asked to work on all manner of projects by these areas directly. A success all round!
