Brochure websites aim to showcase your company and products in the most effective, visually stimulating way and act as an excellent reference for clients. These are solid HTML websites which don't necessarily include more complex options such as online (E-Commerce), a CMS, Flash/Media heavy content, or traffic generating campaigns (PPC or SEO). Starting with an HTML brochure site is the best format for us to then revisit it as your business expands and you require more work, and update it as you need quickly and easily. They're visible to Google immediately, load quickly and don't need any special 'players' with the browser, so all users will be able to see them quickly and easily.
Even for the most basic site we create, we'll stick to our tried and tested formula. We'll find out;
- What you want the site to do for you (what part it plays in your business plan), and how much you want to spend and when you need it by.
- We'll work with you to determine who your users are and what they'll want from you
- We then use steps 1 and 2 to create a simple sitemap and page wireframes so you know what we'll be building for you, then
- We design it and you'll have at least 2 rounds of feedback
- We build it - usually using HTML and CSS to get you up and running, as this will enable us to build on this further in the future if you need to - and will also make it visible to Google from day one - so people will be able to find you after a few months if they're simply looking for your company name on a search engine...
