BRIEF

Moodboard commissioned us to create a series of 6 animated illustrations to help educate their photographers on what they needed to do before they undertook a shoot. This information had always been available to their photographers, but it was rather 'dry' reading, and moodboard wanted to find a way in which the information could be portrayed in a more fun and engaging manner.

SOLUTION

Our solution was to create a short 30 second animation for each of the 6 actions (lighting, makeup, model clearance, checking out the site for the shoot beforehand etc) and not only create these to our usual high standard of design, but also with a good dose of humour - to keep it light and attractive viewing. Once completed, each of the animations were dropped into one interactive flash 'container' and deployed onto the website.

RESULT

Following this, the operational staff at moodboard found that the quality of preparation for shoots by their photographers improved dramatically - and it also helped them to educate the younger/greener photographers to understand what was involved in undertaking such projects for them.
