BRIEF

Higher Ground Creative were commissioned to help with the launch of the new autobahn brand - and as well as creating the branding elements, planning, designing and building the website and direct marketing, we were also asked to create a real 'WOW' factor with a number of 3D animations for the umbrella brand first of all, and then each of the sub brands following this. The first main animation (for the homepage and launch of the new website) needed to be something really special.

SOLUTION

Our solution was to create an animation which encapsulated everything that the autobahn brand stood for, professional, cutting edge, innovative and dependable - storyboarding this out in such a way that the range of services and cutting edge feel were prominent. Once the storyboarding was signed off, we set out designing the 'stills' for the animation, then creating the wireframes, lighting and finally post production. This was then optimised and streamed for the web, so that it would play back quickly and smoothly.

RESULT

This animation proved to be a real success, as it stood out so much from other digital assets presented by competing banks. The animation was also created in such a way that it could be used and tweaked for other projects, rather than just for the website (such as presentations and for plasma screens in Deutsche Bank receptions around the world). It's probably best to watch this one for yourself!
